Happy New Year!

Happy 2018 everyone! Continuing my highly unusual construction of The Maintainer. Drawing and tracing and drawing and tracing... I'm happy to report I'm having a lot of fun with this again. It was touch-and-go for a while there, re-writing the text, creating a font, tracing the text, building the whole story in Pixton, designing the characters, tracing the Pixton work... I guess I felt like a one-man staff here, but I've learned a lot from the process and I'm feeling particularly motivated.

Although I'm not thrilled with the direction my country has been headed, I'm optimistic about the future and I'm fortunate to have much to be thankful for from 2017. Life is complex and often unforgiving, but treating others with respect should remain a priority for us all - it's what keeps our collective heads above the water. Love to all - sending good vibes your way.
